Storm survivors only have a few more days to apply for aid. In a press release FEMA warns those effected that they only have until Monday, October the 12^th, to get their paperwork in. Federal aid is available for housing assistance and other flood related costs, but individuals have to file their paperwork by Monday. No matter the degree of loss, survivors are urged to register with FEMA by going online to DisasterAssistance.gov or calling FEMA’s helpline at 800-621-3362.
