Four people have been arrested after a child endangerment call

Officers in Whitley County were alerted to the problem by an animal control officer who went to the home to inspect a horse. Police arrived at the home and discovered that three children were living inside of the house with three pig and three dogs. The children were being attended by their step-grandfather, 57 year old Frank Lockaby, who was wanted for child endangerment charges in Knox County. According to Whitley County Sheriff Colan Harrell, he believed the children were in danger. The house had broken glass outside and the inside of the house was covered in animal waste. Joshua and Aurora Jenkings were both charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
