Perry County man accused of murder could face tough charges

After a night of partying turned deadly a Perry County man could be looking at serious charges. 22 year old Bobby Snell has been charged with murder, DUI and assault in the first and second degree after a car wreck left 18 year old Caitlin Simpkins dead. Snell is alleged to have driven from a party with three passengers under the influence. He lost control of the vehicle and wrecked, ejecting Simpkins onto a hillside, she was declared dead at the scene. If Snell is indicted his case will then go before the circuit court. According to Commonwealth attorney John Hanson he has not decided if he will pursue the death penalty in this case.
