Some Perry County students came home with a win this weekend. The Hazard High School Band of Gold traveled to Bowling Green over the weekend to compete in the Marching Band State Championship. The band was able to secure 4th place in the 1A division, behind Beechwood, Murray, and Williamstown. While they didn’t bring home their namesake gold, members of the band were proud of their accomplishment.
