Bill on the docket could change the sports scene in the Bluegrass

Kentucky lawmakers will be considering some new legislature named after a well known University of Florida, and NFL Quarterback. The “Tebow” bill would allow home schooled students or students at smaller schools the opportunity to play sports at public schools. The bill has been pre-filed by Representative Stan Lee, and will be considered in the January session. In a statement to WKYT, KHSAA commissioner Julian Tackett said that the organization has not supported legislation like this before.
