Officials have released the information about a Pike County fatality from last week. On Monday, November the 9th 47 year old Michael Lawson of Pikeville was involved in a crash in the Zebulon community of Pike County. Lawson was operating an ATV on Zebulon highway when it went off the road and overturned. He was rushed to Pikeville Medical Center for treatment, but on November 12th he passed away from his injuries. According to a report released by the KSP Lawson was not wearing a helmet when he crashed.
