A meeting was held in Floyd County yesterday to get public feedback. With work continuing in Magoffin County on the Mountain Parkway Expansion project, planners are looking toward the next step. This meeting was a continuation of one that was held in April, and offered the public an opportunity to voice their opinions. One thing that was included in this meeting was the cross county alternative, which would deviate away from the route 114 corridor and link back in near the route 404 intersection. Engineers will take public feedback into consideration, and will select a route by next summer.
