Some struggling veterans may have a Happy Thanksgiving. Residents of the Veterans transition center in Pikeville were given a full Thanksgiving Dinner by the comrades in the VFW. The meal was purchased with donations, and was delivered to the home yesterday. These men will cook the meal tomorrow, seeing it as an opportunity to spend time with their fellow veterans. The Pikeville VFW plans to do the same this Christmas.
