59 year old Lawrence Ball and 59 year old Diana Ball will have to serve time in federal prison for their attempt to defraud the Social Security Administration. Diana Ball told the administration that she was separated from her husband, in order to collect SSI benefits. According to a press release if Ball had not lied about her financial situation she would not have been eligible for benefits. District Judge David Bunning presided over the case and sentenced Diana Ball to 36 months in federal prison for fraud, and Lawrence Ball to 24 months for making a false statement.
