Three Floyd County men were arrested for stealing diesel fuel from a mining site. Blackhawk officials called the department after they suspected previous thefts of fuel. According to a press release from the Sheriff’s department the men were pumping fuel out of the mines reserve, and selling it for a discount price. Patrick Kidd, Shannon Hunter and Corey Kidd have all been charged with burglary and trespassing. The three are currently being housed in the Floyd County Detention Center.
