A bus driver has been cleared of guilt in a child’s death in Whitley County

Nine months ago Jonathan Chatham was killed when the bus bringing him home from school ran over him. According to officials Chatham was able to clear the bus initially, but was hit by the bus’ rear tire. The police ruled the death an accident during their investigation, and now a grand jury has found driver Amanda Woliver innocent. In a statement to WYMT Chathams grandmother, Barbara McMahan said the family is planning to bring suit against the school board.
