The Hazard police department and their rapid deployment team arrested Bransford Payne Olinger yesterday without incident. Officials suspect he was involved in a robbery assault at the Allie Gorman Tower, which involved two victims. Police received a warrant after tips led them to Olinger. According to WYMT officials proceeded with caution after one tipster told them that Olinger claimed he would not be taken alive, and that he was in possession of a handgun. Officials say that additional charges could be included as the investigation continues.
