Work has begun to preserve a historic building

The Dill-York house in downtown Pikeville is going through some major changes as the City works to save this landmark. Pikeville purchased the property about a year ago, with the intention of restoring it and turning it into a regional heritage center. According to Operations director Sean Cochran the center could have multiple uses *audio*. Officials believe the renovation will be completed for under 4-hundered thousand dollars, which will be provided by the city commission and private donations.
