One of Eastern Kentucky’s favorite sons is set to jump start Hillbilly Days. On April 16th the East Kentucky Expo Center will host country music star Dwight Yoakam for the first time, and Expo officials are billing it on Facebook as the “kickoff concert” for Hillbilly Days. Yoakam will be joined by country music star Lee Ann Womack, who sang several hit songs such as “I’ll think of a reason later” and “I hope you dance”. Tickets went on sale this morning and will cost fans anywhere from 39.50 to 59.50.
