Bevin travels to Michigan to promote the Kentucky auto industry

Governor Matt Bevin has begun his first trip on behalf of the commonwealth. He is attending the North American International Auto Show in Michigan to encourage automakers to expand production into Kentucky. The state already has a strong auto industry with two ford production plants in Louisville, the Toyota plan in Georgetown, and the Corvette plant in Bowling Green. According to Bevin’s office this show will afford him the chance to talk to some of the industry’s most influential leaders.
