Officers in an Eastern Kentucky city broke a major drug operation

Nine people have been indicted on organized crime charges in what the Pikeville police department is labeling a drug ring. In a statement to WYMT officers said the nine came together to make and distribute meth in the city limits. All of the accused are facing manufacturing charges, as well as addition organized crime charges. According to Detective Brian Collins the department is sending a message, that if you come in this city and you are going to manufacture meth, you’re not going to last very long.
