Jason and Gladys Dickerson were taken into custody in 2011 when officials found 2 year old Watson Adkins unresponsive in their home. Adkins was one of four children living in the Dickerson household. Testimony from Gladys and one of the older children established that Jason Dickerson was responsible for the child’s death. Gladys gave her testimony in exchange for a plea deal, wherein she pled guilty to four counts of criminal abuse. Jason Dickerson is currently serving a life sentence.
