Nine year old Noah Greenhill suffers from a disease called Eosinophilic Esophagitis. The aliment has damaged his esophagus and makes it very difficult for him to eat. He is currently being fed a special formula through a feeding tube. This supplement costs his family forty dollars a day, and is not covered through their insurance. Speaker of the House Greg Stumbo and Senate Democrat floor leader Ray Jones have teamed up to pass a bill they are calling “Noah’s law”. Under this new law, insurance companies would not be able to deny this lifesaving treatment to people like Noah. The bill will be presented in the House and Senate today.
