While officials have not released much information there has been at least one injury. Unofficial sources have reported the incident happened near the Animal Shelter in Stephens Branch, just outside of Prestonsburg. Troopers from Kentucky State Police, Post 9 are investigating. While we do not have much information, we can say that no officers were injured during the altercation. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
