Shirley Ruth Hawks Williams 68, of Breeden, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, West Virginia. She was born in Ohio on September 18, 1947 tot he late William and Ruth Brown Hawks. Her husband, Floyd Edgar Williams, survives Shirley. Services will be held at the Welcome Home Church in Kermit, West Virginia on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 12:00pm with Daniel Perry officiating.

Kathleen Johnson Wagner, age 53 of Betsy Layne, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Kathleen Johnson was born on January 1, 1963 the daughter of Virginia Jo Meade Johnson and the late David C. Johnson. On March 6 1982 she became Mrs. Kathleen Wagner when she married her husband, Gordon Michael Wagner. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Betsy Layne Free Will Baptist Church with Tony Meade officiating.

Jane Hall died February 22, 2016. She was born March 28, 1933 in Alva, Oklahoma to Otis and Edna Fern (Bittner) Cole. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Virgil B. Hall. Services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Hall Funeral Home in Martin, Kentucky.

William “Bill” Thomas Rosenberg, age 72, of Jefferson, who passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Mr. Rosenberg was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, a son to the late Leonard King Rosenberg and the late Evelyn Crossett Rosenberg. Service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 5:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Pierce officiating.

Prentiss Shepherd, age 67, of Avawam, KY passed away on Feb. 22, 2016 at his residence. He was the son of the late Matt Shepherd and the late Mimia Standafer Shepherd. He was married to Genice Fields Shepherd. Services will be at 1PM Thur. Feb. 25, 2016 at Maggard’s Mtn. View Chapel with James Cornett officiating.

Jimmy Dewayne Hall, 65, of McDowell, KY. He was born on November 27, 1950 in Martin, KY to the late Milford & Olgia Blankenship Hall. He was married to Rebecca Adkins Hall. Services will be Friday (February 26, 2016) at 11am at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home with Omery C. Hall officiating.

Eddie Dean Smith, age 63, of Ary, KY passed away on Feb. 22, 2016 at his residence. He was the son of the late Isaac Smith and the late Zola Stacy Smith. Services will be at 1PM Thur. Feb. 25, 2016 at Twin Oaks Freewill Baptist Church with Levi Akers, Carl Smith & Brian Miller.

Rev. Bob Murr, age 87, of Yeaddiss, KY, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Hazard ARH. Rev. Bob Murr was born on December 2, 1928 in Colorado, the son of the late Amos Murr and late Margaret Williams Murr. He leaves surviving his loving and devoted wife Carol Murr. Services will be at the Cutshin Bible Church, Yeaddiss, KY, Thursday, 02/25/2016 at 11AM with Pastor Tony Little and Rev. Roy Hodson officiating.

James Tyler Goble, 23 of Orange Park, FL, formerly of Floyd Co. KY, passed away February 18, 2016. Born November 27, 1992, he was the son of James Avery Goble of Salyersville, KY and Erika Moran of Hi Hat, KY. James is survived by his wife, Stacy Lee Swain Goble. Services will be Sunday (February 28, 2016) 1pm Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin.

Arlin Bentley, age 91, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 at the Signature Health Care Center. Arlin was born on Oct. 5, 1924 to his parents the late Joe Bentley and Martha Bentley. He was the husband of Willa Allen Bentley. Services will be Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Teddy Honaker officiating.

Deanie Daniels, age 57, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 at the U.K. Medical Center. Deanie was born on May 6, 1958 to his parents Maggie Meade Daniels and the late Gary Daniels. Deanie was the husband of Marie Daniels. Services will be Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.

Torrance Callahan, age 29, of Cornettsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016, in Bledsoe, KY. He was born on January 13, 1987 to Tony Callahan and Melissa Jones Callahan. He was married to Melissa Shell. Services will be at 1PM Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at Maggard’s Mountain View Chapel, with Buddy Turner officiating.

Andy Finus Lowe, 70, of Pilgrim, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at his residence. Born May 19,1945 in Pike Co., Ky. To the late Rushia and Eula Jude Lowe.He is survived by his wife Brenda Muncy Lowe of Pilgrim, Ky. Services will be held at 1 pm Saturday at the Buck Branch United Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Lowe Family Cemetery at Pilgrim. Terry Harmon will be officiating.
