Yesterday in an email, President of Morehead State Wayne D. Andrews announced the decision to lay off all employees, unpaid, for 5 days beginning March 21 through March 25 during spring break to lessen the impact on instruction and student services. Andrews also says the decision stems from Governor Matt Bevin’s proposed cuts on higher education as well as the current budget situation.
