On Tuesday March 10, a surveillance video depicts Adrona Mattice, a woman whom is said to be jailed for assault, moving around a sleeping mat, having a argument with a guard, whom is then to be seen shoving her. Ricky Kempton has worked with the jail in Monticello for close to 15 years. He was then arrested based on the statement that he caused small injuries to Mattice. Kempton has been suspended based on how the investigation goes, he was served arrest papers Tuesday mornings, but according to officials, made bond and was not arrested.
