A little girl finally comes home

The Bell Family have been watching their daughter Lilly grow up from miles and miles away for 3 years and they were officially able to adopt her this past weekend. After 5 days in Congo, 2 9 hour flights, and a commute from Chicago to Louisville, they had made it through.  Lilly, the newest member of the family speaks Lingala, the trade language of Kinshasa, the Capital city of the Democratic republic of Congo. She was theirs initially in 2013, but in September, the country suspended all exit visas, and from there is was a waiting thing. Now they are all together in Hindman. The Bell’s are hoping to convey a message about adoption. When asked what they looked forward to the most about experiencing life with Lilly, they responded with “everything.”
