Wendell Keith Hall, a former representative of House District 93, was sentenced yesterday to 7 years for bridging state mine officials. Kelly Shortridge was a mine reclamation officer, and though his job was to implement regulations, he ignored  violations that Happened with Hall’s properties. And in return, Hall would pay him in several increments over time, that now add up to more than 46,000. Hall will be required to pay a 25,000 fine, in addition to supervised release for 2 years. Shortridge got 2 years in prison.
