Rand Paul is making visits to the Bluegrass

U.S Senator Rand Paul stopped in Ashland yesterday to discuss issues going on around the world, as well as right here in the area. One in particular subject was the lack of coal jobs here in the Bluegrass.  In an article to WSAZ Paul is quoted saying: “We don’t need people representing us that have some sort of religious fervor. That they believe in this global warming extremism,” Paul said. “We all want a good environment, we want a good climate, we want the air to be clean. If it becomes so extreme that people are willing to shut down entire industry, that’s a problem for us.” Paul plans on swinging through Magoffin, Rowan, Greenup and Floyd Counties.
