Wayne Riley established the  Laurel County African American Heritage Center in London, out of a desolated church he grew up going to in 2004. While driving by it the letters “KKK” were spray painted across the sign in large letters, in addition to another sign for the center about a tenth of a mile down the street, including the number 1488. According to an article from WYMT,  The captain of the London City Police, Darrel Kilburn is calling this “disgusting” He says There’s no rhyme or reason anyone should do this to cause fear for anyone else.
