Stacie Fugate, a student at Hazard High School created a program there, and plans to open another one at Perry County Central High School As well as Knott County Central High School.  The program is called  “No princess left Behind. ” She provides everything every girl needs to go to prom, no charges, absolutely free. According to an article from WYMT, she came up with the idea after a lifelong friend didn’t have the means to go to prom. Several people in the area donated dresses for the girls to pick from. This is the first year for the event.
