On Jay street, in a an abandoned building near downtown Pikeville, not far from where Hillbilly Days is held,  a fire broke out. Several agencies responded to the the fire, and noted flames shooting as high as 30 feet in the air. Thankfully, No one was hurt, but officials have no word on what could have started the fire.
