Robert Morgan, author of  “Gap Creek” which made it on Oprah’s  Book Club picks, made a visit to Pikeville.  He was signing for the most recent book he wrote, “Catching the North Sta.r” This isn’t the first time Morgan has been to the Bluegrass, in an article to WYMT, He said he came to Kentucky 12 times to research Daniel Boone and as he is currently writing a biography on Rebecca Boone.  He plans to come back to Pikeville to continue his research.
