Jobless rates rise in Kentucky

Officials state that that in Kentucky’s 120 counties, rates for unemployment rose in 65 counties between the time span of March 2015, and March 2016. Woodford County  recorded Kentucky’s lowest jobless rate at 3.6 percent.  The Kentucky Office of Employment Training stated Thursday that jobless rates stayed the same in 18 counties but fell in 37 counties. Magoffin County recorded the states highest unemployment rate at 20. 1 percent. Floyd and Wolfe County at 12.6 percent.
