Jordan Smith, a winner from “The Voice” will be singing the national anthem at Kentucky Oats, Kate Upton will serve as first lady of  the May 6 Oaks. A portion of the first lady’s role is to raise awareness of breast and ovarian health. 142 cancer survivors and a parade will commence on the racetrack following Jordan Smith’s performance. Smith, a Harlan County native just released his debut album, “Something Beautiful”.
