On Saturday April 30th 2016 at 8:46 P.M the KSP in Morehead  was notified about an injury related collision that occurred on Main Street in Clay City. There were three vehicles involved. 34 year old Amanda Jones  was traveling eastbound on Main St. in Clay City when she collided into a vehicle operated by 76 year old Estill Cole, of Clay City who was attempting to turn on to River Drive. Mr. Cole’s vehicle was then struck by a third vehicle operated by 29 year old Michael Pelfrey, of Jeffersonville. Ms. Jones, and Mr. Cole were transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center and a juvenile passenger from Mr. Pelfrey’s vehicle was taken to Mount St. Joe’s in Mount Sterling for treatment. This collision remains under investigation by Trooper Leslie Strong, Unit 343.
