After a series of crashes on Route 151, The Secretary for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet issued an order banning large commercial trucks  temporarily. This action stems from the Federal Highway Administration authorizing the cabinet to delete the highway in Anderson and Franklin counties. The Cabinet is working to permanently remove Route 151 from the National Truck Network.
