According to an article from WYMT, A Day for Prayer was created by a joint resolution of the U.S Congress in 1952. It has been celebrated in America for 65 years. Preachers and Pastors from all over the region helped out. The theme for this year was “Wake Up America” many say it’s important to not forget to pray during what is happening with the political front. Several other services for National Day of Prayer were commenced all over the region
