Big Sandy Community and Technical College’s Workforce Solutions division has announced an additional Fiber Optics course on June 6-12 on its Pikeville campus.

Since its inception last summer, the class has attracted students from 11 states.  The week-long training, sanction by the Fiber Optics Association (FOA), will provide students certifications in the following areas: Fiber Optics Technician, Fiber Optics Testing and Maintenance and Fiber Optics Splicer.big sandy
