Big Sandy Community and Technical College’s (EKSC) East Kentucky Science Center and Planetarium (EKSC) was awarded the Partner in Education award from the Floyd County Chamber of Commerce at its annual awards banquet on Tuesday, May 24 at the Wilkinson-Stumbo Convention Center at Jenny Wiley State Resort Park. Operated by the college, the EKSC is located on the Prestonsburg campus and attracts more than 10,000 visitors annually and hosts more than 60 schools in the tri-state area.
