Lynch Police Chief Jackie Stewart and Rettie Morris plead not guilty after being indicted last week. The Mayor of Lynch says arrest followed shortly after discovering a break in at City Hall in which someone stole evidence from the evidence cabinet and from the clerks office. The indictment alleges the two schemed to distribute meth and cocaine in addition to other controlled substances. Stewart and Morries are scheduled to go on trial August 9th.
