A woman is in custody after running away from a deputy

According to an article from WYMT, Belinda Furguson attempted to run from officials after a routine traffic stop in the Inez area. When Deputy Tyler Todd and another officials caught them, Furguson was complaining of chest pains. She was taken to Paul B. Hall Medical Center, and escaped shortly after being released while walking back to the cruiser. After a few days she was arrested with no trouble outside her residence. Furguson is charged with tampering with physical evidence, fleeing and evading on foot and possession of a controlled substance.
