Mine cited in Harlan County after sediments leak into creek

According to an article from WYMT, a Harlan County coal mine has been temporarily shut down after  a sediment spill leaked into creek waters. Until all ponds that leaked the sediment fall in line with department standards and are fixed, all mining activity is at a halt. The water has been tested to determine whether unsafe levels of minerals are in it.  Results are expected by the end of the week.
