Attorney General Andy Beshear held a ceremony in Frankfort to honor World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) and joined state leaders and elder advocates to raise awareness about elder abuse in Kentucky. The annual event is celebrated June 15 and is designed to promote a better understanding of elder abuse and neglect.
