On June 16, The Kentucky State Police arrested 36 year old  Brenton T. Byrd,  on charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. The investigation began after Byrd was discovered to have been sharing sexual acts involving children online. Byrd is currently charged with 20 counts of possession and 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Byrd was lodged in the Nelson County Detention Center.
