Big Sandy Community and Technical College’s Workforce Solutions division and the Kentucky Coal Academy (KCA) have announced an innovative and accelerated training program that combines high-tech training for high-wage jobs.  The new program will provide students industry leading credentials in lineman, fiber optics, commercial driver’s license (CDL) and OSHA.  BSCTC’s fiber optics training program was the first in Kentucky to offer an Outside Plant Cabling certification, in addition to other certifications as a technician, specialist in testing/maintenance and splicing specialist.
