On Sunday, around 4:28,  51 year old Everett P. Simpson of Millersburg Kentucky was operating a  2007 Yamaha motorcycle north on KY36 when he failed to clear a curve a hit a southbound earth embankment. He was air lifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington where he is listed in stable condition. The Kentucky State Police Post 8 in Morehead is investigating the accident.
