Billie Jean Osborne’s Kentucky Opry will continue this weekend, July 2, with another local rising star in Kelsie May. The Louisa native made noise in 2015 on NBC’s The Voice when 3 judges turned their chairs around for her while singing “You’re Looking at Country,” by music legend and Johnson County native Loretta Lynn. Kelsie ultimately chose a position on team Blake, even after Christina Aguilera did her best sales job. Kelsie has now performed alongside artists such as Marty Stuart, Jo Dee Messina, Rae Lynn, and fellow Kentuckians Montgomery Gentry. This weekend’s show will be Saturday at 7:30 PM at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.
