On Monday, the Kentucky State Police Post 8 Morehead received a report from the Wolfe County Sheriffs Office of a male subject that had sustained a minor gunshot wound on KY191 near Campton, Kentucky. 18 year old Austin J. Hays of Campton, Kentucky sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound after a shotgun was fired in the area of a dispute.  Hays was taken to the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky and later transferred to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky where he was treated for minor injury and later released.
