After the recent police shootings in Dallas, A Laurel County Special Response officer is offering up free officer down training to anyone involved in Kentucky Law enforcement, according to an article from WYMT, when Rodney Vanzant learned of the 5 officers gunned down in Dallas he wanted to do all he could to prepare law enforcement officials to react if a similar situation should occur. The training for this is generally expensive, however Vanzant is offering it for free in hopes to give back, The free training day will be on August 20^th and is open to anyone whom is a law enforcement officer full time in Kentucky.
