According to an article from WYMT, two Harlan county boys found a dog hurt and in need of serious medical attention while walking about and playing the newest technology craze with their mother: Pokemon GO. The dog had been beaten, nearly to death and had he not gotton the attention he received he would have surely died. The mother is a nurse and used her skills to keep him alive. He was transported to the Corbin Animal Clinic. Even after loosing his tail and suffering a gunshot wound, the family hopes to adopt the dog they now refer to ‘Ash Ketchum’. Named after the primary character from the TV series.
