On July 19, 2016, at approximately 6:25 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by Louisville Metro Police Department, arrested Alvin E. Sanders III, 27, on charges related to distribution and possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.  Sanders was lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. Additional charges are expected.
