The Kentucky Coal Academy will his a job fair at Big Sandy Community and Technical College’s Pikeville campus Monday, August 1 from 9am-3pm. KCA is looking to help displaced miners find new jobs with Alabama’s Warrior Met Coal Company. Miners with electrician certifications, equipment operators and supervisors from the commonwealth and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend and will have the opportunity for same day interviews. KCA staff will be at the event to assist attendees with information and answer any questions, as well as learn more about education and career opportunities through BSCTC’s programs.
