There is a new development in the Prestonsburg PD, with two officers trading in four wheels for two. Officers Will Holbrook and Austin King have been appointed to Prestonsburg’s new Bicycle Patrol. Mayor Stapleton said these two officers have been designated to better police the community and for neighborhoods to get to know the officers and vice versa. This new initiative is being done to get communities to better get to know the officers without a window between them. Mayor Stapleton says they are really excited with this patrol as they will get to know the neighborhoods.
